• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and month-end activities.

• Manage purchase ledger oversight and supplier accounting.
• Support audits, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
• Drive process improvements and finance efficiencies.

The Role

Reporting to the European Financial Controller, you will lead the German finance function, taking ownership of financial reporting, compliance, controls, and local tax requirements.

You will work closely with Group Shared Services while maintaining responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and delivery of the German entity’s finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, and fixed assets
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and month-end activitiesOversee expense processing and German VAT/tax compliance
• Manage purchase ledger oversight and supplier accounting
• Support audits, statutory reporting, and financial controls
• Drive process improvements and finance efficiencies
• Act as the senior finance escalation point for Germany
