Enpal is seeking a focused student to analyze and optimize business processes within its energy division in Berlin. You will work with cross-functional teams to map requirements, identify inefficiencies, and translate needs into concrete solutions.

This role emphasizes data awareness and structured problem-solving in a fast-growing, hybrid environment. You will learn how processes interconnect with data, systems, and people, contributing to scalable ways of working and informed decision-making

What you'll do:

• You analyse and understand business processes, identify inefficiencies, and uncover opportunities for improvement.

• You collaborate closely with stakeholders across different teams to gather requirements, structure challenges, and translate business needs into clear solutions.

• You investigate existing workflows, data flows, and operational structures to create transparency and support informed decision-making.

• You support strategic and operational projects from problem definition through implementation.

• You document processes, requirements, and business rules in a structured and comprehensible way.

• You support the optimization and standardization of business processes and help establish scalable ways of working across the organization.

What you'll bring:

• You are currently studying Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related Technical field.

• You combine strong analytical thinking with a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate.

• You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy investigating how systems, processes, and data flows interact across an organization.

• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Claude Code, SQL, or similar platforms is a plus.

• You work in a structured and solution-oriented way, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

• You are highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

• You learn quickly and enjoy exploring unfamiliar topics across different business domains.

• You speak fluent English, German is a plus.
