Enpal in Berlin seeks a student trainee in Finance/FP&A to support modern financial reporting using Snowflake, Airtable, and Power BI. You will help develop forecasts, dashboards, and pricing/reporting automation as part of a data-driven energy platform.

The role targets students in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or related fields with strong Excel skills and an interest in BI tools. German language is a plus; English is acceptable. Hybrid work setup in Berlin is offered.

Your Tasks

• You will support the development and continuous improvement of our financial reporting using modern tools such as Snowflake, Airtable, and Power BI.
• Together with the team, you will develop forecasts and financial models and support the continuous improvement of our financial planning.
• You will analyze financial and operational data (e.g., inventory, stock, and sales data) and derive recommendations for action for the business.
• You will develop dashboards and reports that support management and specialist departments in making important decisions.
• You will support the automation of pricing and reporting processes and help make manual workflows more efficient.
• You will work on data-driven models for evaluating and prioritizing customers and leads, thereby supporting the further development of our sales processes.
• You will contribute your own ideas and quickly take responsibility for sub-projects.

Your Profile

• You are studying Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable degree program.
• Ideally, you have already gained some practical experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Business Intelligence, or Analytics.
• You have very strong Excel skills and ideally some initial experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• You enjoy working with data and presenting complex relationships in a clear and understandable way.
• You work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner and are eager to learn new topics quickly.
• You are proactive and want not only to analyze processes but also to actively help shape and improve them.
• Good English skills are sufficient, German is a plus.
