Enpal in Berlin is seeking a Product Engineer (f/m/x) to own energy-system solutions across the full lifecycle, from concept through validation and operation. You will work across engineering, product, suppliers, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable energy solutions.

The role requires a degree in electrical/energy engineering with hands-on testing and a system-level mindset. We offer a hybrid work model and a modern Berlin office with strong team collaboration.

Qualifikationen

What you’ll do

At Enpal, we are expanding our AC hardware and energy system portfolio across photovoltaic (PV) systems, storage integration, and inverter-adjacent components.

We are looking for a Product Engineer (f/m/x) who takes technical ownership of energy systems across the full lifecycle – from technical concept and system definition through validation, integration, testing, and operational performance.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, suppliers, and operations. The focus is not pure component development, but system-level responsibility for scalable, reliable, and field-ready energy solutions.

• Own the technical concept and design of AC-side energy systems

• Collaborate closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Quality, Procurement) to translate requirements into robust technical solutions

• Lead validation, testing strategy, and performance verification across lab and field environments

• Drive hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis on hardware systems

• Support prototyping, commissioning, and integration of new components into existing systems

• Contribute to system-level decisions around reliability, cost, and scalability

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or similar

• Experience in AC systems, inverter technology, storage systems, or power electronics

• Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or lab-based hardware work

• System-level engineering mindset with strong analytical problem-solving skills

• Experience working with suppliers and technical validation processes

• Understanding of EU/German electrical standards

• Fluent English, German is a plus
