Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a sanitation associate to clean and sanitize equipment in the mill areas, performing dry cleaning with compressed air and sweeping on a defined schedule, and to maintain sanitation records.

The role requires basic math and English literacy, and physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb up to 30 feet, and wear PPE. Overtime including evenings and weekends may be required; training to operate a man-lift will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must be willing to lift up to 100 lbs. periodically throughout the day.
• Must be willing to climb up to 30 feet, as needed.
• Must be willing to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to be trained to use man-lift.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (e.g., safety vest, eye protection, ear protection).
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., overtime as needed including evening, and weekends.
