Job summary

Perdue Farms in Germany is seeking a Feed Mill Dispatcher to coordinate with drivers, farmers and internal teams to ensure feed is scheduled, dispatched and delivered on time.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, with at least 1 year of dispatch or logistics experience; High School or equivalent beneficial.

You will work a 3rd shift and may include weekends, supporting safety and quality across the network.

• Work closely with the feedmill operations to ensure efficient loading and unloading of feed.

Summary

Play a critical role in keeping our feed mill operations running smoothly as a Feed Mill Dispatcher. In this role, you’ll coordinate closely with drivers, farmers, and internal teams to ensure feed is scheduled, dispatched, and delivered accurately and on time. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety and quality will help support seamless operations and strong customer relationships across our network.

Schedule

3rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00pm-3:00am, Weekends as business needs dictate

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate feed delivery schedules with drivers, farmers, and internal teams.
• Dispatch drivers for feed delivery to farms.

Preferred Education And Experience

Physical Requirements And Environmental Factors

When in a feedmill environment:

• Work is performed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes in temperature and humidity.
• Exposure to dust, grains, and strong odors in feedmill and farm environments.
• Regular travel to farms and facilities.
• Work involves standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50lbs) for extended periods.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, standing/walking, climbing/stooping.
• Possess normal hearing and vision to perform tasks safely.
