Producers Rice Mill is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to direct engineering and maintenance teams within our rice milling operations. This role partners with the operations team to keep processes efficient while upholding safety and food safety standards. The role oversees capital budgets and repair expenses and requires a B.S.

in Mechanical Engineering or related field, strong communication, and computer literacy. Travel within a 150-mile radius of the main office is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Biological related field from a 4-year accredited university.

• Willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius of the main office.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day.
• Ability to ride man-lift and climb heights up to 200 feet.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures for long periods.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety and food safety policies.

Description/Job Summary

Job Summary: The Plant Engineering Manager will direct engineering and maintenance teams within the rice milling operations. This position will work with the operations team to keep processes efficient while helping maintain safety and food safety. Responsible for both capital budgets and repair expenses.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Biological related field from a 4-year accredited university or college.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess working knowledge of computers.
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed. Most travel is withing 150-mile radius of main office.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull and crawl throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to ride man-lifts.
• Must be willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for long periods of time.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow safety and food safety policies.
• Other duties as requested by manager.

Preferences

• Knowledge and use of Microsoft programs, spreadsheets, database, scheduling programs, PLC's and familiarity with current drafting software.
• Previous experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• 2 Years of Engineering or Maintenance Management experience.
