CargoBeamer AG is seeking a Truck Dispatcher to coordinate first/last mile transports to and from intermodal terminals. You will plan daily routes, monitor execution in real time, and resolve disruptions to maintain on-time delivery.

The role requires experience in logistics and transport dispatch, strong prioritization, and clear communication with drivers and subcontractors. German proficiency and a strong operational mindset are essential.

Responsabilités

• Dispatch truck transports to and from intermodal terminals (first/last mile).
• Build, maintain, and execute the daily transport plan, prioritizing in peak times.
• Actively reduce empty runs through smart routing and capacity planning.
• Manage disruptions: delays, cancellations, deviations; find workable alternatives quickly.
• Communicate with drivers and subcontracted carriers; provide clear instructions and status updates.
• Monitor trucks in real time and proactively address issues.
• Support onboarding and integration of new subcontractors.
• Handle documentation and billing support: collect proofs of delivery, check completeness, and issue credit notes.

Want to keep transport operations running smoothly—even when plans change? At CargoBeamer, you will dispatch trucks to and from intermodal terminals and make sure trailers arrive on time. You plan daily transports, monitor execution in real time, resolve disruptions fast, and help reduce empty miles on the first and last mile.

Your Responsibilities:

• Dispatch truck transportsto and from intermodal terminals (first/last mile).
• Build, maintain, and execute thedaily transport plan, including prioritization in peak situations.
• Activelyreduce empty runs through smart routing and capacity planning.
• Manage disruptions:delays, cancellations, deviations—and find workable alternatives quickly.
• Communicate withdrivers and subcontracted carriers; provide clear instructions and status updates.
• Monitor trucks in real time (tracking/status) and act proactively when issues arise.
• Support onboarding and operational integration of newsubcontractors.
• Handle documentation and billing support: collectproof of delivery, check completeness, create/sendcredit notes to carriers.
• Support quality management: analyze delay root causes, propose improvements, and evaluate subcontractor performance.
• Coordinatetrailer management topics (repairs/maintenance/inspection) with relevant partners.
• Supportdamage claims: initiate, document, respond, and follow up.

Required

• Experience inlogistics,transport dispatch, trucking operations, or a similar operational role.
• Strong ability to work under time pressure, manage changing priorities, and stay organized.
• Clear, solution-oriented communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• German: good working proficiency
• English: very good proficiency

Nice to have

• Vocational training or degree in logistics/business (helpful, not mandatory).
• Experience incustomer service/customer care in a logistics environment.
• Commercial mindset (documents, proofs, credit notes).
• Italian is a plus.
