American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) within CWT Defense & Government in Grafenwöhr, Germany seeks a travel support specialist to handle moderately complex itineraries for government accounts. You will create and verify car, hotel, air, and rail bookings.

Fluent English is required; a second language is a plus. With 2+ years of relevant experience, you’ll work under minimal supervision in a collaborative environment with access to extensive learning resources.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years industry experience preferred or a strong customer service background.
• Experience in travel support roles preferred.
• English fluent – written and spoken.
• 2nd language a plus.
• Basic MS Office.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Good travel industry knowledge.
• Skilled in GDS - Sabre preferred.

Aufgaben

• Creates and completes travel arrangements (car, hotel, air, rail) for moderately complex accounts.
• Ensures reservations are built according to client standards and preferences.
• Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed recommendations which provide the best traveler experience.
• Resolves moderately complex problems with potentially non-standard and multi destinations, ticket exchanges and complex fares.
• Assignments include both routine and non-routine work.
• May be required to assist with department related projects and implementations (clean-up, startup, closeout, etc.).
