Job summary

HyperStrong is seeking a Training Manager – BESS to design and lead a scalable training ecosystem for employees, customers and service partners across the EMEA region.

The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, practical exercises, and the creation of curricula, certifications, and assessments that enable technical readiness and ongoing professional growth. Travel across Europe is anticipated, with remote-work flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in BESS, energy storage, power electronics, renewable energy, or technical training.
• Proven experience in technical training, instructional design, or knowledge development.
• Strong understanding of BESS, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to build a training system from scratch.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and teaching skills.
• Fluent English and German; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training on BESS, commissioning, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety.

HyperStrong is a leading global provider of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions, delivering advanced energy storage products and integrated solutions across international markets.

As we continue to expand across Europe, we are looking for a Training Manager – BESS to build and lead our technical training system for employees, customers, and service partners across EMEA.

Your Responsibilities

• Build the EMEA Training System from the Ground Up – Design and establish a structured training framework, including curricula, learning paths, training standards, certification levels, and competency requirements.
• Develop & Deliver Technical Training – Create and deliver engaging training on BESS, commissioning, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety.
• Teach, Don’t Just Present – Translate complex technical concepts into practical, easy-to-understand learning experiences. Use hands-on exercises, demonstrations, case studies, and real-world scenarios rather than simply reading from training materials.
• Train Different Audiences – Develop tailored programmes for internal engineers, project teams, customers, and authorised service partners, from beginner to advanced levels.
• Develop Training Content – Build professional training materials, manuals, presentations, practical exercises, assessments, and certification exams in close cooperation with Engineering, Product, Service, and Project teams.
• Establish Certification & Competency Management – Define competency standards, assessments, certification processes, and refresher training to ensure technical readiness across EMEA.
• Support Product & Business Growth – Develop training programmes for new products, software/firmware updates, new processes, and market requirements.
• Manage Training Effectiveness – Track participation, completion, certification, and competency development, and continuously improve the training system based on feedback and business needs.

Your Profile

• 2-3 years of experience in BESS, energy storage, power electronics, electrical engineering, renewable energy, or technical training.
• Proven experience in technical training, instructional design, or knowledge development.
• Strong understanding of BESS, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to build a training system from scratch, rather than only delivering existing courses.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and teaching skills, with the ability to make complex technical topics practical and understandable.
• Fluent English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
• Structured, proactive, and highly organised, with the ability to work independently in a fast-growing international environment.
• Willingness to travel within Europe for training and customer/partner activities.
