WHITEvoid is an art and design studio based in Berlin, working on innovative projects worldwide, from architecture to interactive exhibitions and custom software solutions. The team combines art, architecture, mechanics, electronics, and software to push creative boundaries.

We are looking for a developer to create and maintain TouchDesigner-based control software for the KINETIC LIGHTS system, collaborate with engineers and creative directors, and contribute ideas, technical solutions, and

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience with TouchDesigner 099, with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with object-oriented programming desirable.
• Basic understanding of the 3D, POP and SOP workflow in TouchDesigner.
• Basic understanding of GLSL and interactive electromechanical projects.
• Good understanding of sensors, actors and communication protocols.
• Creative mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain the Touch Designer based control software for the KINETIC LIGHTS event automation system.
• Adapt and expand the software to new technologies and customer requests.
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with the engineering team.
• On-site setup and operation of national and international installations and projects.
• Organize and manage software versions (git).
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors to bring creative concepts to life using TouchDesigner.
• Contribute your own creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the development process.
• Technical documentation.

Tasks

• Development and maintenance of the Touch Designer based control software for the KINETIC LIGHTS event automation system
• Adapt and expand the software to new technologies and customer requests

Requirements
