Job Title: Sales Engineer
Job Purpose
Sales Engineers will use their sales skills to secure projects for PERI, with the highest price quality possible and the most favorable terms and conditions.
Key Accountabilities / Duties
- Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting PERI products and advising customers regarding the most cost-effective formwork and shoring solutions
- Sales consultations with contractors (general and sub-contractors) who carry out the concrete work
- Sales Engineer must be able to analyze drawings and develop preliminary concepts for formwork and shoring solutions using PERI products
- Sales Engineer will discuss all commercial strategies with the Head of Sales to ensure that projects are secured and with the best price quality possible
- Sales Engineer will discuss the concepts internally with the Design Engineers who will develop the best winning designs and shop drawings as well as material lists for the projects
- In parallel, to confirm with the Offer Engineer and Material Demand Planner on material availability prior to the offer creation
- Analysis of the geographical sector the position covers in terms of clients, projects and products
- Acquisition of new clients
- Managing the projects under your control, covering all aspects of the order from the client’s request until the complete return of the material and payments of the invoices
- Reporting the progress of the projects, the relations with the clients and also the development of follow-up projects to the Management
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Bilingual: Arabic & English
- 5+ years’ experience in formwork & scaffolding sales in the Middle East
- Strong technical knowledge combined with proven sales ability
- Driven, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact
- Ideally have a profound knowledge of the Qatar construction market and/or GCC construction market
- Technical knowledge of PERI products and their use
- Construction experience (general contractor, formwork etc.)
- Good negotiation skills
- Applicant must be responsible, self-motivated
- Excellent team player keeping high collaboration with other Sales engineers, Logistic & Technical team
- Entrepreneurial individual that possesses very good communication skills
- Has a strong command of Arabic and a good command of English is pre-requisite

- Ability to work both in a team and at times under minimal supervision
