Frequentis Comsoft in Karlsruhe Germany is seeking a Test Lead/Test Manager to shape test strategy, manage test teams, and drive test activities in product development and complex projects.

You will analyze requirements for testability with QMS and subject matter experts, create test plans and specifications, and report progress based on KPIs, ensuring high quality in safety-critical aviation solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in test management.
• Knowledge of process design and project management is an advantage.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional approach.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in the aviation industry or other safety-critical environments is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Further develop test management with QMS team and subject matter experts, incl. selecting tools and test automation.
• Develop and define test strategies and methods for projects and product development.
• Take on the role of Test Lead/Test Manager in product development and complex projects, planning and coordinating test teams as needed.
• Analyze requirements and use cases for testability and assign to test phases.
• Create test plans and test specifications.
• Report test status and progress based on KPIs.

Key Tasks

• Further develop test management in collaboration with the QMS team and subject matter experts, including analyzing and optimizing the test environment and selecting suitable tools, particularly for test automation
• Develop and define test strategies and test methods for projects and product development
• Take on the role of Test Lead/Test Manager in product development and complex projects, including planning and coordinating test teams where required
• Analyze requirements and use cases with regards to testability, appropriate test methods, and assignment to the relevant test phases
• Create test plans and test specifications
• Report on test status and progress based on defined KPIs

Key Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional training; alternatively, solid knowledge of software development processes
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in test management
• Knowledge of process design and project management is an advantage
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional approach
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Experience in the aviation industry or other safety-critical environments is an advantage
