Zusammenfassung

Siemens Mobility in Erlangen seeks a Technical Trainer (f/m/d) Protection Systems to develop and deliver advanced training on power system protection for international teams and customers.

You’ll create sustainable curricula, run hands-on workshops and simulations under demanding conditions, and collaborate with R&D to incorporate new technologies, while traveling as needed. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in electrification, power transmission and distribution, and power system protection.
• Advanced level of German and English.
• Willingness to travel.

Aufgaben

• Develop and deliver advanced training on power system protection with hands-on exercises under critical conditions.
• Coach customers and internal teams on protection topics and advise on operations to meet needs.
• Create sustainable curricula and training programs for customers.
• Lead workshops and simulations in technical operations.
• Support development of scenarios, tools, simulations and frameworks for future-ready performance.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives to integrate new technologies into solutions.

• You support and coach customers and internal teams about topics related to power system protection and act as an advisor on operations to cover their needs and requirements.
• You create a sustainable curriculum and develop trainings programs for our customers.

• You support the development and improvement of scenarios, tools, simulations and frameworks for future-ready operational performance.
• You are part of R&D initiatives to integrate new technologies and evolving industry needs into our solutions.

• You have analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have advanced level of German and English.
