Job summary

Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg seeks a Technical Test & Hydraulic Systems Technician on a temporary assignment from Dec 1, 2026 to Aug 1, 2028. You will work with state-of-the-art test benches to ensure hydraulic aviation components meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, fault analysis, documentation in SAP/Aspen/E-Doc, and maintaining English/German records. The role offers international exposure and development opportunities within a safety-critical aviation

Qualifications

• Technical vocational training in a relevant field.
• Fluent German and good English (B1).
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
• Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final technical inspections of hydraulic components.
• Operate and monitor state-of-the-art test benches.
• Analyze and diagnose technical faults and deviations.
• Document and process work orders in SAP, Aspen, and E-Doc.
• Manage technical documentation and data in German and English.
• Perform daily test bench inspections using checklists.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and process standards.
• Support continuous improvement of technical workflows with Lufthansa Technik.

For Lufthansa Technik AG—a global leader in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the aviation industry,we are seeking an experienced Technical Test & Hydraulic Systems Technician (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg as soon as possible.

This position is to be filled on a temporary staffing basis (contract labor) for the period from December 1, 2026, to August 1, 2028.

In this role, you will ensure that hydraulic aviation components meet the highest quality and safety standards. You will work with state-of-the-art test benches, analyze technical discrepancies, and make a vital contribution to the safety and reliability of international aircraft fleets.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as an:


• Aircraft Mechanic (m/f/d)


• Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)


• Electrician (m/f/d)


• Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)


• Automotive Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)


• ...or a comparable technical qualification


• Strong technical aptitude and an interest in aviation technology


• Experience in testing, maintenance, or troubleshooting is an advantage


• Fluent German and good English language skills (at least B1 level)


• Strong sense of quality and responsibility


• Structured and meticulous working style


• Team-oriented and reliable


• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system


• Willingness to participate in \"Human Factors\" and security background check (ZUP) training
