Job summary

Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg-Huhlsbüttel seeks a Hydraulics Test Engineer to ensure reliability and safety of hydraulic aircraft components using modern test benches. The gross annual salary is up to €50,000 depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities include inspection, fault analysis, SAP-based order processing, and test bench maintenance, with potential international assignments. Flexible hours with three-shift rotation and a range of bonuses, canteen benefits, and pension contributions

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic – Maintenance or comparable.
• Initial professional experience in maintenance or testing of technical systems.
• Good English skills (at least B1).
• Willingness to work in a three-shift rotation.
• Nice to have: Airfield driving licence and AML.
• EU work permit valid (no student visa).

• Technical final inspection of hydraulic aircraft equipment on test benches.
• Fault analysis and diagnosis of aircraft equipment independently.
• Order processing using SAP, E-Doc, and Aspen, also in English.
• Test bench maintenance via daily checks with checklists.
• International assignments in America and China as needed.
