Job summary

Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg seeks an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead sub-projects within modern aviation systems. This temporary staffing contract runs from 01 November 2026 to 30 April 2027, focusing on operational readiness and cost-effective support.

You will coordinate international client relationships, develop technical specifications with engineering teams, and prepare reviews and status reports in a global aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in industrial, mechanical, aerospace engineering or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience as a project manager or sub-project manager.
• Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), IPS, or service engineering.
• Knowledge of aviation certification and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Experience in civil or military aviation is desirable.
• Professional proficiency in German and English (C1).
• Willingness to work in an international environment.

For Lufthansa Technik AG—a global leader in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the aviation industry,we are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg as soon as possible.

This position is to be filled on a temporary staffing (contract) basis for the period from November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.

In this key role, you will take responsibility for logistical and technical sub-projects within the context of modern aviation systems. You will oversee complex customer programs, coordinate technical requirements, and ensure that systems can be operated, maintained, and supported in a cost-effective manner.

Your Profile

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a project manager or sub-project manager
• Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Integrated Product Support (IPS), or service engineering
• Knowledge of aviation certification and regulatory requirements is an advantage
• Experience in the civil or military aviation sector is desirable
• Very good proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High level of personal initiative and sense of responsibility
• Professional proficiency in both German and English (at least C1 level)
• Willingness to work in an international environment
