Job summary

suena energy is seeking a Technical Program Manager to bridge product ambitions with complex engineering execution. You will coordinate across Tech teams, translate requirements into concrete delivery plans, and own timelines in a fast-paced green tech environment.

Fluent English is required, German is a plus. A technical background and strong leadership will help you identify blockers early, align stakeholders, and push for realistic, high-impact outcomes in energy markets and renewables.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical program management, project management, or driving delivery within complex software engineering environments.
• Preferably a technical background or strong technical understanding that enables you to dive into technical discussions and feasibility.
• Strong soft skills, outstanding organizational ability, and clear judgment; ownership and clarity in ambiguous situations.
• An agile, proactive, and fast-learning mindset with a drive to get things done in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
• Fluent communication in English; German a bonus but not required.
• Domain knowledge in energy markets, algorithmic trading, or renewables is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• You act as the central coordination layer across Tech teams, establishing clear alignment and ensuring dependencies and deliveries run smoothly.
• Translate Product, Commercial, and Trading requirements into actionable technical delivery plans, breaking down complex scope with Tech Leads.
• Own project timelines, flag risks early, and communicate transparently with stakeholders to maintain momentum across engineering.
• Serve as a strong counterpart to Product, asking the right questions, helping prioritize work, and pushing back when timelines are unrealistic.
• Spot technical blockers and cross-team dependencies early, bringing engineers together to resolve issues fast.
• Reduce organizational overhead for technical leadership by optimizing cross-team workflows and ownership.

Your mission

• You act as the central coordination layer across Tech teams, establishing clear alignment and making sure technical requests, dependencies, and deliveries run smoothly without getting lost in the shuffle.
• You translate Product, Commercial, and Trading requirements into actionable technical delivery plans, breaking down complex scope alongside Tech Leads.
• You own project timelines, proactively flag risks, and communicate transparently with stakeholders to maintain steady execution momentum across engineering.
• You serve as a strong counterpart to Product, asking the right questions, helping prioritize work effectively, and pushing back constructively when requests or timelines are unrealistic.
• You spot technical blockers and cross-team dependencies early, bringing the right engineers and teams together at the right time to resolve issues fast.
• You reduce organizational overhead for technical leadership, stepping in to optimize cross-team workflows, track delivery progress, and foster clear ownership.

Your profile

• 4+ years in technical program management, project management, or driving delivery within complex software engineering environments.
• Preferably a technical background or strong technical understanding that enables you to dive into technical discussions, evaluate feasibility, and be a driver instead of just an "information courier."
• Strong soft skills, outstanding organizational ability, and clear judgment - you take full ownership, know when and how to say "no," and bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• An agile, proactive, and fast-learning mindset with a strong drive to get things done in a fast-evolving technical landscape.
• Fluent communication skills in English; German language skills are a nice bonus, but not required.
• Domain knowledge in energy markets, algorithmic trading, or renewables is a big plus
