Autolink is seeking a Technical Presales Manager to lead solution design for intelligent cockpit products, including IVI and domain controllers. You will translate customer needs into technical proposals, work with OEMs like VW, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Germany and China.

You will deliver high-quality specifications, help shape product definitions, and support bids with compelling demonstrations and documentation. Travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifikationen

Job Title: Technical Presales Manager/ Presales Engineer (Intelligent Cockpit Solutions)

Work Location: Germany / China (supporting European business)

I. Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Requirement Alignment & Technical Communication

Serve as the technical point of contact, engaging deeply with OEM clients (e.g., Volkswagen Group) to understand and uncover their business needs and project pain points

Collect and analyze customer requirements, provide professional technical consultation, and guide customers in technology selection and product definition in areas such as cockpit domain controllers and E/E architecture

Support the sales team during customer visits, conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and demo sessions

2. Technical Solution Design & Documentation

Design presales technical solutions for intelligent cockpit products (e.g., IVI, instrument clusters, domain controllers), covering system architecture, feature definition, and key technology highlights; produce high-quality technical specifications, solution PPTs, and presentation materials

Develop bid technical documents based on tender requirements and customer needs; independently complete technical proposal preparation

Support bid defense sessions, providing accurate and timely responses to customer technical inquiries

3. Competitive Analysis & Market Insights

Track and analyze market competitors and technology trends; produce competitive analysis reports to inform product planning and market strategy

Stay informed about European automotive industry regulations, data security and compliance requirements, and relevant policy standards

Gather industry and market intelligence to support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and other technical promotion activities

4. Internal Collaboration & Translation

Collaborate with product, R&D, and project teams to ensure presales solutions are technically feasible and clearly defined for implementation

Translate customer requirements and solutions into clear inputs for internal execution teams to support successful project delivery

Support the Sales Manager in delivering product knowledge training to internal teams

II. Qualifications

1. Experience & Industry Background

Bachelor's degree or above in Vehicle Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience in intelligent cockpits, domain controllers, or automotive electronics

Experience in system development, requirement analysis, or product planning for intelligent cockpit products (IVI, instrument clusters, domain controllers, etc.)

Experience in presales technical support or technical solution design is preferred

Familiar with automotive E/E architecture and industry trends; mastery of system-level product development methodology

Knowledge of the end-to-end development process for intelligent cockpit products: requirement analysis, platform selection, hardware/system/software design, UX design, etc.

Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and communication skills; ability to independently produce high-quality technical documentation

Familiar with OEM technical engagement processes and RFI/RFQ response workflows

3. Language & Work Eligibility (if based overseas)

Fluent in both German and English, both as working languages; ability to directly engage in technical meetings, email correspondence, and document preparation with German customers

Work location: Germany (or China supporting European business); valid German residence permit and work authorization required (if applicable)

Strong cross-functional collaboration and resource coordination skills; ability to effectively drive alignment across R&D and project teams internally

Strong customer service mindset and technical curiosity; ability to quickly learn new domain knowledge

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the long-cycle, high-intensity pace of the automotive industry, including domestic and international travel
