  • Provide a single, transparent source of information for requirements, market inputs, testing findings, decisions and validation status.
  • Enable EU teams to submit, track and clarify requirements and issues, while allowing HQ R&D teams to review, respond, update and trace actions in a structured way.
  • Continuously improve the platform based on project feedback and evolving EU–HQ collaboration needs.

Issue Prevention & Knowledge Reuse

  • Systematically capture recurring product issues, testing findings, customer complaints and lessons learned.
  • Convert validated findings into reusable requirements, design principles and validation criteria.
  • Identify recurring or previously known issues and ensure they are considered in future projects and product releases.
  • Build mechanisms to prevent project teams from repeatedly solving the same problems.

Smart Cockpit Requirements Knowledge Pool

  • Design and maintain a structured Smart Cockpit requirements architecture and knowledge pool, including requirement taxonomy, relationships, version management and ownership.
  • Enable efficient storage, retrieval, reuse and comparison of requirements across projects and product generations.
  • Maintain requirement history and decision records to preserve organisational knowledge beyond individual projects or team members.

AI-Enabled Requirements Engineering

  • Develop and implement AI-enabled solutions for:
  • Requirement classification and structuring
  • Duplicate and inconsistency detection
  • Knowledge reuse and automated analysis
  • Explore AI and digital engineering technologies to improve requirement quality, engineering efficiency and validation effectiveness.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and continuously improve Smart Cockpit requirements engineering processes and digital workflows.
  • Analyse recurring EU issues and requirement gaps to identify opportunities for product and process improvement.
  • Work closely with Smart Cockpit, engineering, testing and cross-functional teams to continuously improve the requirement-to-validation process.

The role is expected to establish a measurable improvement in the following areas:

① Better requirement quality EU customer and market needs are converted into clear and actionable engineering requirements.

② Fewer repeated issues Lessons learned and recurring issues are captured and reused in future projects.

③ Better HQ–EU alignment HQ R&D receives structured requirements with clear rationale, evidence and validation criteria.
