ECARX in Stuttgart seeks a seasoned Program Manager for automotive cockpit programs focused on IVI, connectivity and ADAS. You will lead cross-functional teams across software, hardware and suppliers, driving end-to-end delivery from concept to mass production.

The role requires 10+ years of total experience, strong leadership, and fluency in German and English. Ideal candidates have PMP and a master’s degree, with familiarity in IATF 16949, ASPICE and agile methods.

Qualifikationen

• 7–8 years automotive industry experience (IVI/ADAS preferred) plus 7–8 years software, hardware & manufacturing program management experience.
• Master's degree in engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 10+ years total work experience with global OEM & Tier1 supplier automotive projects; end-to-end delivery from concept to mass production.
• Hands-on experience in intelligent cockpit systems including IVI, connectivity and vehicle HMI; familiarity with IATF 16949 and ASPICE standards.
• Knowledge of SAFe & LeSS Agile frameworks is a plus.
• Fluent German and English; able to collaborate across Asia and Europe with travel as needed.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary liaison between external customer stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams; deeply understand customer requirements to align solutions and escalate & resolve issues promptly.
• Plan and deliver automotive programs focused on infotainment, connectivity and ADAS; own independent workstreams and coordinate resources to hit milestones.
• Tackle challenges of large cross-border projects spanning software, hardware and suppliers; create implementation plans to control deliverables and schedules.
• Establish and track core KPIs to evaluate program performance and report progress to senior leaders and customers; suggest process improvements and risk controls.
• Promote collaboration among R&D, product and cross-functional teams; exercise influential leadership and balance delivery deadlines with staff well-being.
• Identify and mitigate risks from OEM/supplier constraints and internal resources; design and implement risk responses and inform stakeholders.
• Present program status, bottlenecks and achievements to executives; support sales and pre-sales in designing technical schemes and manpower planning.

1. Customer communication & issue resolution: Serve as the primary liaison between external customer stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams; deeply understand customer requirements to align solutions and escalate & resolve issues promptly.

2. Automotive intelligent cockpit program delivery: Plan and deliver complex automotive programs focused on infotainment, connectivity and ADAS; own independent project workstreams, coordinate company-wide resources and balance technical expertise and strategic decisions to hit critical milestones.

3. Cross-border project delivery management: Tackle challenges of large cross-border projects covering software, hardware and external suppliers; formulate implementation plans to control deliverables and schedules, and motivate global teams to meet or exceed targets.

4. Program performance & continuous improvement: Establish and track core KPIs to evaluate program performance and report progress to senior leaders and customers; provide practical suggestions for process optimization and risk control.

5. Cross-team leadership & people management: Promote collaboration among R&D, product and cross-functional teams; exercise influential leadership, empower team members and balance delivery deadlines with staff well-being.

6. Full-lifecycle risk governance: Identify and mitigate risks arising from OEM/supplier constraints and internal resource shortages throughout automotive development cycles; design and implement risk response plans and keep all stakeholders informed.

7. Executive alignment & pre-sales support: Present program status, bottlenecks and achievements to senior executives and conduct upward communication to align with corporate strategy and short-term program needs; cooperate with sales and pre-sales teams to analyze customer demands, design technical schemes and participate in cost & manpower planning to win new business.

3. Automotive professional proficiency: Hands-on experience in intelligent cockpit systems including IVI, connectivity and vehicle HMI; proficient in IATF 16949 and ASPICE automotive standards; familiarity with SAFe & LeSS Agile frameworks is a plus.

4. Cross-cultural leadership capability: Able to lead teams through influence, adapt to multi-cultural & multi-timezone environments and communicate effectively with senior management.

5. Team & schedule balancing skill: Capable of balancing tight deadlines while maintaining team morale and operational flexibility.

6. Communication competency: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with personnel at all corporate levels.
