Job summary

Apaleo, a leading API-first property management platform, is seeking a Technical Partnerships Manager in Germany. You’ll onboard integration partners, explain Apaleo APIs, certify apps for the App Store, and guide partners to improve both business and technical outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with CTOs, product managers, and developers, handling technical discussions and partner relationships. In this role you’ll monitor API performance with tools like Datadog, resolve partner tickets, and help

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or travel tech, in any role from customer success to revenue management or reservations.
• Understanding of PMS, channel managers, booking engines, payments and distribution, and data flow between them.
• Good grasp of what an API is and ability to join technical conversations with developers.
• Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical people and commercial topics to engineers.
• Experience managing technology partners or similar external stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with ability to switch context quickly.

Responsibilities

• Help partners improve both the business and technical logic of their integrations.
• Monitor partner API performance and spot issues before they become problems (e.g., Datadog).
• Resolve support tickets from partners and escalations from customers about integrations.
• Inform partners when our API changes and help them adapt.
• Write and update our developer documentation and guides showing what a good integration looks like.
• Reach out to potential partners, e.g., French partners as sales expands into France.
• Share technical requirements and business opportunities from partner work with product, marketing, business development and customer success.

As a Technical Partnerships Manager, you are the person partners talk to when they want to build on Apaleo.You will help partners, from early-stage startups to large corporates, build integrations that work well for hotels. You will explain our APIs, review how partners have built their use case and show them what good looks like.You will work with CTOs, product managers and developers, switching context quickly and enjoying the technical detail. This is a technical, partner-facing role, not a commercial one.

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

• Experience in hospitality or travel tech, in any role from customer success to revenue management or reservations.
• Understanding of the hotel tech ecosystem: PMS, channel managers, booking engines, payments and distribution, and how data flows between them
• A clear grasp of what an API is, and the confidence to join technical conversations with developers. "I don’t know, let me find out" is the right attitude
• Technical curiosity. You don’t need to write code, but you enjoy digging into why something broke
• The ability to explain technical topics to non-technical people, and commercial topics to engineers
• Experience managing technology partners or similar external stakeholders
• A proactive mindset, and the ability to switch context quickly

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of REST, OAuth and webhooks
• Experience with log management or monitoring tools such as Datadog
• Experience with a marketplace or app store programme
• Experience with certification or QA processes for integrations
• German or French
