Apaleo, an AI-first property management platform revolutionizing hospitality, seeks an Engineering Manager in Munich to lead, grow, and inspire engineering teams delivering high-quality software at scale.

You’ll own people leadership, delivery strategy, and technical excellence across your teams, collaborate with product and design, shape long-term roadmaps, and drive an AI-driven development pipeline while maintaining a healthy, blameless culture and hands-on involvement.

• Proven experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong backend experience with C#/.NET and cloud platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems, DevOps, and modern infrastructure tooling.
• Bonus: Kafka experience.

What You’ll Bring

• Experienced software engineer, including several years in engineering leadership.
• Strong technicalfoundation;backend experience (C#/.NET) and cloud knowledge (AWSor other comparable providers like Azure) arenecessary.
• Experience with distributed systems, DevOps practices, and modern infrastructure tooling (Terraform,Docker).Bonus: experience with event-drivenarchitectures(Kafka).
