Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer focused on IoT to articulate differentiators and drive market adoption. The role combines technical marketing with hands-on demonstrations and cross-functional collaboration to position products in new markets.

The candidate will create white papers, datasheets, and case studies, and support RFPs, tradeshows, and workshops across German-speaking markets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Telecommunications/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related field).
• Extensive customer and field experience with IoT products required.
• Excellent English and German written and spoken communication.
• Customer focused Sales Engineering experience is a must.
• Software development experience is highly desirable.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and articulate technical differentiators and competitive positioning.
• Compile technical details related to market and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management to improve products and position them in new markets.
• Support creation of design guides, troubleshooting guides, evaluation guides, application notes, technical white papers, presentations, videos, and demonstrations for IoT solutions and products.
• Create product demonstrations highlighting key product values to improve market penetration of new technologies and features.
• Provide engineering guidance on feature enhancements and bug fixes.
• Build and maintain demonstration environments for IoT solutions and products.

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and articulate technical differentiators and competitive positioning
• Compile technical details related to market and customer requirements
• Work with Product Management to improve products and position them in new markets
• Support creation of design guides, troubleshooting guides, evaluation guides, application notes, technical white papers, presentations, videos, and demonstrations for IoT solutions and products
• Create, update, and present technical marketing collateral including presentations, datasheets, and case studies
• Create product demonstrations highlighting key product values to improve market penetration of new technologies and features
• Work with customers and partners on feature comparisons, benchmarking, and demonstration setup development
• Provide engineering guidance on feature enhancements and bug fixes
• Support outbound customer and field engagements, including technical workshops and product demonstrations
• Build and maintain demonstration environments for IoT solutions and products
• Support sales and marketing efforts and travel for field and marketing activity
• Support product launches and assist with tradeshows, conferences, technical sales training, workshops, and channel partner training
• Respond to customer or field inquiries and assist with technical RFPs
• Collaborate with BDMs, Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional teams
• Conduct market and competitive analysis with the Product Management Team
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain quality system standards
• Follow and enforce company rules and policies

Requirements

• Strategic technical thinking and a good business understanding
• Sensitive to deadlines and flexible to adjust according to changing priorities
• Extensive customer and field experience with IoT products is a must
• Excellent English and German written and oral communication skills required; other language skills desirable
• Customer focused Sales Engineering experience is a must
• Software development experience and/or capabilities highly desired
• Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency; resourceful and proactive
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity
• Team player that works well in collaborative situations
• Good leadership skills and ability to work with all teams in the company
• University Degree and/or Previous Applications Engineering Experience
• Bachelor’s degree highly desired in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Wireless Communications Systems, or Computer Engineering
• Wireless Technology experience highly desired in Cellular Networks (2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G), LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi‑Fi (802.11 standards), or Bluetooth/BLE
• Requires standing, sitting, and walking for periods of time
• Use hands to finger, handle or feel
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
