The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales and supplier management to ensure timely deliveries and optimized costs.

• Coordinate with Sales to determine demand and forecast requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• You maintain product master data and lead times in the ERP system
• You independently solicit quotes, evaluate them, and then negotiate the best terms
• You handle the entire ordering process in a structured manner, always keeping delivery dates in mind
• You clarify material availability, technical questions, and complaints (including 8D reports)
• You carefully review invoices and manage supplier relationships—from initial acquisition to on-site visits
• You coordinate closely with Sales to determine demand and forecast requirements
• You coordinate supplier-friendly designs based on manufacturing expertise
• The qualification of new components and suppliers is also part of your responsibilities, as is your active contribution to process optimization
• You analyze and optimize procurement costs and conduct risk analyses

Your Profile

• You have a degree in a technical field, or alternatively, have completed technical or business vocational training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in plant and mechanical engineering
• You enjoy working in a team, possess technical expertise or an affinity for technology, and have a basic understanding of contract law
• Proficiency in using ERP systems as well as MS programs and tools is part of your daily routine
• You work in a structured, reliable, and independent manner, and have strong organizational and time management skills
• Business travel is not an exception for you, but rather a welcome change of pace and a challenge
