Your Responsibilities

• You will commission complex microprocessor-controlled vacuum, crystal growth, metrology, or plasma devices and systems—both at our Jena location and on-site at customer locations worldwide
• You will perform functional and acceptance tests and ensure that everything runs smoothly
• Together with our customers, you will coordinate the installation and testing procedures
• You will complete test and acceptance documents based on contractual agreements—in close coordination with the customer
• You will provide professional training and instruction to customer personnel on the operation of the systems

Your Profile

• You have completed a vocational training program in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial electrical engineering
• Ideally, you have gone on to become a certified technician
• You have professional experience in the commissioning and testing of systemsYou have in-depth knowledge of electrical and control engineering, particularly in the areas of PLCs and process control systems
• You view installation assignments both domestically and abroad as a welcome change of pace
• You have good English skills (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
• You are proficient in using a PC and various programming tools
