Job summary

Surventis, located in Münster, seeks a Team Lead Internal and External Communications to lead a global team and shape our communications strategy. You will guide messaging, content, and media relations while advising leaders and coordinating across regions.

You will report to the Head of Global Communications and drive change initiatives, ensuring consistent brand voice and impactful external communications globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
• Several years of internal and external communications experience in an international corporate environment, including change, transformation and restructuring communications.
• Ability to translate corporate strategy into compelling narratives, clear messages and effective communication measures.
• Strong advisory skills and experience working with leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience leading international teams and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, political awareness and intercultural competence.
• Structured, pragmatic work approach with ability to set priorities and drive change in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent German and English skills.

• Lead and develop global specialists for Media Relations and Internal & Change Communications, owning team performance and development.
• Develop and implement communication strategies, plans and content aligned with business priorities.
• Guide and support the Surface Treatment Communications Lead in shaping and rolling out communications globally.
• Create, review and publish high-quality internal and external communications across channels.
• Define media relations strategies, identify stories and actively shape media engagement.
• Drive internal and change communications and act as sparring partner for leaders.
• Serve as spokesperson in crisis situations and coordinate One Voice statements.

What You Can Expect

Our Communications team works closely with the business to ensure our strategy is understood and our story is heard. As Team Lead Internal and External Communications, you give the Surventis brand its voice. You lead a team of communications specialists while staying hands-on yourself: from developing communication strategies and key messages to advising leaders and managing critical communications. You report directly to the Head of Global Communications.
