Surventis, based in Münster, Germany, seeks a Security Manager to shape global physical security standards, collaborate with international teams, and drive risk and incident management across sites. You will implement tools, perform analyses, and ensure compliance with legal EHS requirements while partnering with Operations and expert functions.

The role emphasizes ownership, growth mindset, and delivering real value through robust security programs within a multinational context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in security management, risk-/crisis management or a comparable field.
• Several years of operational and project experience.
• Sound knowledge of physical security standards (legal and chemical industry).
• Fluent English and experience working with international teams; another language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop global physical security standards for our organization and sites and update them regularly.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and global experts and coordinate security topics with stakeholders.
• Support units in implementing and applying global physical security standards.
• Implement security tools to support physical security.
• Conduct security analyses and prepare meaningful reports based on relevant information.
• Manage security incident reporting and analyze/evaluate security incidents.

What You Can Expect

Within our unit Global EHS, we develop globally applicable, fundamental Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) principles and concepts for Surventis in close cooperation with Operations and other expert functions. In addition, we support the implementation of these concepts and verify compliance with legal requirements and EHS standards through audits.

• In your new role, you develop global physical security standards (so w/o cyber security) for our organization and sites and take responsibility for their continuous development.
• You collaborate closely with local, regional, and global experts across the company and coordinate security-related topics with relevant stakeholders.
• In addition, you support our units in implementing and applying global physical security standards.
• You also take responsibility for implementing relevant security tools to support physical security.
• Based on relevant information, you conduct security analyses and prepare meaningful reports.
• Last but not least, you manage security incident reporting as well as the analysis and evaluation of security incidents.
