You will lead a cross-functional analytics team, build the team lead function from scratch, and connect strategic data requirements with operational excellence. Team Responsibilities

• You own the team backlog: you prioritise stakeholder requests, protect team capacity, and communicate decisions transparently.
• You drive the quality and evolution of our data products – from KPI definitions and self-service dashboards to semantic layers and AI products.
• You build lean processes for refinement, planning, and delivery, keeping overhead consistently low.
• You work closely with the Head of Data and technical peers, translate priorities into concrete team goals, and represent the data team in alignment sessions with Marketing, Sales, and Product.

Your profile

• You have several years of experience in analytics or BI and have already led a team or teams – professionally or disciplinarily.
• You think in stakeholder value, not tickets – and know when a request needs to be prioritised, reshaped, or declined.
• You bring along engineers and non-technical stakeholders equally, without having to translate between both worlds.
• You prioritise consistently and keep the overview when multiple projects are running in parallel.
• You communicate fluently in German and English (C1 or C2).
• Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g. dbt, Redshift, Superset) and solid SQL skills are a plus – not a must.
