Our data, AI & MarketingTech department seeks a Data Team Lead to drive a scalable analytics platform. You will mentor skilled engineers, own cloud-based data infrastructure on Google Cloud, and guide end-to-end data products used across the organization.

You will lead data governance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with data regulations, while fostering innovation and data-driven decision making.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a technical field such as computer science, business informatics, or natural sciences.
• Expert knowledge on state-of-the-art data engineering and data model approaches.
• Expert knowledge in data platform engineering and related technical tools like dbt.
• Very good Python and SQL programming skills; Java is a plus.
• Deep technical knowledge of modern cloud-based data platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Google Analytics.
• Deep knowledge of Software Engineering best practices—from requirements specification, version control, CI/CD, and testing to deployment and monitoring of data pipelines and services.
• Familiarity with data security, data regulations, data privacy requirements.

For our significantly growing Data, AI \& MarketingTech Department, we are looking a technical team lead for one of our data teams. The mission of the team is to further develop a scalable data analytics platform and provide data and data products to consumers throughout the company. The analytics platform is the heart of our strategy to enable every employee to work in a data driven way.

As Data Team Lead you are playing a pivotal role in the company’s data \& AI journey. You will lead and mentor great talents and work at the intersection of business, data, and technology, drive innovation and data \& AI adoption throughout the organization. Your team is responsible for generating significant business value through data, enabling data \& AI driven decision making across departments, while ensuring compliance with data regulations.

• Lead a team of highly skilled and motivated data & analytics engineers, act as mentor for team members supporting them growing and unfolding their full potential
• Develop andmaintainthe technicaldata platforminfrastructurebuilt in the Google Cloud
• Manageand orchestrate analytics use cases and requirements
• Be responsible forour cloud-baseddata platform infrastructure, drive continuous improvement, manage data access, ensure compliant datahandlingand platform security
• Manage end-to-end implementation of efficient dataand pipelines according to our dataconsumers‘ needsup to consumable data & products
• Own the technical implementation and components of your team as well as their operation and maintenance

Your profile
