Zusammenfassung

Berlin International College sucht Lehrkräfte für Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF/DaZ) auf A1/A2-Niveau zur Unterstützung des Bachelor Prep Program 2026/2027. Der Unterricht erfolgt vor Ort in Berlin, mit der Möglichkeit zum Online-Unterricht.

Einsatzzeiten umfassen Wochentage, Samstage sowie Intensivwochen. Sie verfügen über eine DaF/DaZ-Qualifikation, idealerweise über mindestens ein Jahr Unterrichtserfahrung im A1/A2-Bereich und sprechen Deutsch auf muttersprachlichem Niveau.

Qualifikationen

• Qualifikation in DaF/DaZ oder vergleichbare Lehrerfahrung.
• Mindestens 1 Jahr Unterrichtserfahrung im A1/A2 Niveau.
• Deutsch auf muttersprachlichem oder vergleichbarem Niveau.
• Verfügbarkeit an Samstagen und während Intensivwochen.
• Vertraut mit telc Prüfung A1/A2 (Plus)
• Interkulturelle Erfahrungen von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

• Unterrichten Deutsch auf Stufen A1 bis A2.
• Vorbereitung und Durchführung eines internen BIC-Leveltests am Kursende.
• Kurse planen, Materialien vorbereiten und Lernfortschritte dokumentieren.

Jobbeschreibung

Berlin International College is a private Studienkolleg. We prepare international students without a direct university entrance qualification (HZB) in language and subject-specific courses, enabling them to study at German universities. For the German language courses accompanying our Bachelor Prep Program 2026/2027 (T-Kurs and W-Kurs), we are looking for teachers of German as a foreign language at levels A1 and A2.

Aufgaben

You will teach German from beginner level up to A2, and you will prepare and conduct the internal BIC level test at the end of each course. The official A1 and A2 examinations are taken externally at a licensed telc examination centre and are not part of the course.

Timeframe:

• A1 course: 17.11.2026 - 30.01.2027
• A2 course: 02.02.2027 - 29.05.2027

Class times:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays in blocks of 90 min (1 block = 2 teaching units of 45 min each)
• Selected Saturdays with 4-6 teaching units
• Intensive weeks Monday to Thursday in December, March and April with 6 teaching units per day

Mode of classes:

• on site in Berlin, online teaching possible

Qualifikation

You are a good fit if you...

• Have a qualification in German as a Foreign Language (DaF/DaZ) or comparable teaching experience
• Have at least one year of experience teaching German at beginner level (A1/A2) to groups of at least 5 students
• Speak German at native or comparable level
• Are available for classes on selected Saturdays and during the intensive weeks
• Are familiar with telc examination formats at A1 and A2 (a plus)
• Have intercultural experience (a plus).
