ZEISS in Oberkochen, Germany, is seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer to develop, verify and integrate modules for wafer positioning and alignment. You will define architectures, optimize interactions across mechanics, electronics, sensors and software, and lead partnerships with internal and external teams.

Your Profile

• above-average degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, physics, or a comparable technical degree


• several years of experience in the development of highly complex mechatronic systems and a comprehensive understanding of systems through your knowledge, particularly in the fields of mechatronics and electronics


• proven experience in position measurement and control software combined with the ability of collection, evaluation and analysis of data (e.g., Design of Experiments, MATLAB, Python, etc.)


• experience in areas of electron microscopy and/or semiconductor technology is an advantage


• excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German language is a plus


• ability to manage uncertainty in a rapidly changing environment


• collaboration and conflict resolution skills


• willingness to travel abroad for work
