ZEISS in Germany seeks an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to develop and integrate mechatronics modules for wafer positioning and alignment. You will define architectures, optimize mechanics–electronics–sensor–software interaction, and analyze error budgets to achieve maximum accuracy.
The role requires handling control software, data analysis (DOE, MATLAB, Python) and collaboration with software, operations and product management. Travel may be required.

Your Profile above-average degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, physics, or a comparable technical degree several years of experience in the development of highly complex mechatronic systems and a comprehensive understanding of systems through your knowledge, particularly in the fields of mechatronics and electronics proven experience in position measurement and control software combined with the ability of collection, evaluation and analysis of data (e.g., Design of Experiments, MATLAB, Python, etc.) experience in areas of electron microscopy and/or semiconductor technology is an advantage excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German language is a plus ability to manage uncertainty in a rapidly changing environment collaboration and conflict resolution skills willingness to travel abroad for work
