Zusammenfassung

ActBlue is seeking a systems administrator to design, implement, and continually improve its internal IT systems, with a focus on secure cloud-based infrastructure and identity management. You will configure, deploy, and manage IAM, MDM, endpoint security, and SaaS integrations, while collaborating with security, legal, and data governance teams.

You will own access controls, data handling policies, and automation workflows for onboarding and offboarding, audits, and security compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance- and security-driven projects.
• Knowledge of IAM platforms, MDM tools, and productivity suites.
• Experience with endpoint hardening and security best practices.
• Familiarity with SOC 1, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS frameworks.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Jobbeschreibung

• Design, implement, and continually improve ActBlue’s internal IT systems
• Configure, deploy, and manage secure cloud-based IT systems focused on identity management, MDM, endpoint security, and SaaS integrations
• Partner with Security, Legal, and Data Governance stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements, internal controls, and security configuration standards
• Manage user identity lifecycle and access control, including RBAC, least privilege principles, and regular access audits
• Develop and implement data governance controls covering data classification, retention, loss prevention, and secure data handling
• Create and maintain systems documentation, playbooks, and user-facing knowledge resources
• Design and implement IT process automation for onboarding/offboarding, software provisioning, and compliance checklists
• Support internal audits and compliance evidence gathering through review of logs, change management records, and security controls
• Monitor evolving regulatory, privacy, and security standards
• Contribute to IT project delivery through project planning, vendor coordination, and implementation
• Report to the Sr. IT Manager
• Partner with the Systems Administration and Desktop Support teams and collaborate cross-departmentally

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration
• Experience developing and implementing compliance- and security-driven projects
• Working knowledge of identity and access management platforms, MDM tools, and core productivity/collaboration suites
• Experience applying endpoint hardening and security configuration best practices
• Strong familiarity with macOS environments, including enforcing security policies, maintaining governance standards, and managing patch compliance across a device fleet
• Experience integrating SaaS tools and platforms, including planning and executing system and data migrations
• Exposure to workflow automation and orchestration tools
• Exposure to emerging agentic or AI-driven tools that streamline IT operations
• Experience implementing data governance controls and operationalizing data privacy standards
• Familiarity with SOC 1, SOC 2, NIST, and PCI DSS compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with e-discovery and data handling policies and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical documentation, policy writing, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

• Availability during established regular business hours, Monday through Friday
• Potential availability for an on-call rotation and nontraditional hours as needed
• Proficiency with virtual communication tools such as Zoom and Slack
