Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to design, implement and manage a fully cloud-based IT environment across SaaS platforms. You will strengthen security, automate workflows, and mentor the IT team while leading cross-functional projects.

The role requires 5+ years in IT engineering or systems administration, deep Google Workspace expertise, and hands-on security practices. You will spend part of time on escalated support and onboarding new hires.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in IT engineering, systems administration or related role in cloud-first env.
• Proven experience supporting SaaS-based IT infrastructure at scale.
• Security-first mindset with hands-on best practices across IT systems.
• Experience managing macOS and Windows endpoints in modern device mgmt.
• Deep Google Workspace admin experience incl Gmail routing and deliverability.
• Hands-on with email security platforms such as Proofpoint.
• Experience with Slack, Okta, Jamf, Intune, Zoom.
• ZTNA or modern network security experience.
• Ability to automate workflows using Python, Bash, and APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis; mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Engineering, Systems Administration, or a related role in a cloud-first environment
• Proven experience managing and supporting SaaS-based IT infrastructure at scale
• Security-first mindset with hands-on experience applying security best practices across IT systems and processes
• Experience managing and supporting macOS and Windows endpoints in a modern device management environment
• Deep expertise in Google Workspace administration, including Gmail/email routing, security, and deliverability
• Hands-on experience managing email security platforms such as Proofpoint or equivalent
• Experience administering and integrating Slack, Okta, Jamf, Intune, and other endpoint management platforms
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) or modern network security approaches
• Ability to automate workflows using scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, and APIs
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
• Experience mentoring junior team members and acting as a technical leader
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to manage IT asset lifecycle operations, including staging, storage, and distribution of end-user hardware
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Jamf, and Intune
• Experience with AI orchestration or agent platforms is a plus
• Proofpoint experience is a plus
