Jobtailor in Germany is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage a workforce of about 100 employees, focusing on macOS and iOS environments and the full device lifecycle.

You will join a team dedicated to IT security initiatives, ISMS/ISO27001, and collaboration with DevOps on Linux, Docker, and cloud services. Office 3 days per week and remote for the rest, with strong communication required.

• Provide technical support to approximately 100 employees
• Administer a device environment comprising approximately 120 MacBooks, 40 iPhones, 10 iPads, and Android test devices
• Manage the entire device lifecycle, from procurement and setup through return and reuse
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and SaaS applications
• Develop standards for a secure and reliable macOS workplace environment
• Help select and implement a future MDM solution
• Support network, firewall, Wi-Fi, storage, and backup systems together with the team
• Document systems and processes
• Automate recurring tasks and further develop existing IT processes
• Coordinate external service providers in hosting, telecommunications, and tooling
• Support IT security initiatives as well as measures related to ISMS and ISO 27001
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on Linux, Docker, and development environments

Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT support and in administering workplace and system environments
• Knowledge of macOS and iOS, with confident use of the Apple ecosystem
• Experience with an MDM system such as JAMF or Intune is an advantage
• Enjoy supporting people with technical questions
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and understandably
• Good understanding of IT security and well-structured access control concepts
• Interest in improving existing structures and taking ownership of building new areas
• IT vocational training, a degree in computer science or business informatics, or comparable practical qualifications
• Willingness to work in the office 3 days per week and remotely for the remainder
• German language skills are preferred
• Good English skills
• Knowledge of network administration, firewalls, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, or VLANs is a plus
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure, or SaaS application administration is a plus
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, or storage systems is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Docker, Apache, or Node.js is a plus
• Exposure to ISMS or ISO 27001 is a plus
• Solid IT foundation, willingness to learn, and desire to take on responsibility
