Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • As a System Engineer (f/m/d) in Third Level Support for our Syngo products, you analyze and resolve issues reported by our globally distributed customers.
  • You play a key role in de‑escalating critical customer situations.
  • Based on your experience with our installed base, you evaluate and resolve customer complaints as part of our R&D organization.
  • You independently advise our product development teams.
  • You create guidelines for efficient software debugging and actively share this knowledge within the organization.
  • As a trusted expert, you collaborate closely with Product Management to drive the continuous improvement of our products.
  • You hold a university degree in a technical field.
  • You bring extensive experience in software development projects; ideally, you have already worked as a Senior Developer, Software Architect, or System Engineer in agile project environments with international, distributed teams.
  • You demonstrate strong knowledge of the medical domain and medical data standards such as DICOM or HL7.
  • You possess solid expertise in collaborating with different departments, customers, suppliers, and technical partners and have successfully managed complex communication processes in the past.
  • Ideally, you have in‑depth debugging and tool experience, particularly in log file analysis, performance tracing, and network analysis, enabling you to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Ideally, you have experience within Siemens Healthineers and are familiar with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • You have a high affinity for digital technologies, especially AI‑supported tools and workflows.

  • You are comfortable working in an international environment and have fluent English skills; German skills are an advantage.
  • You communicate technical content clearly and appropriately for the audience, align effectively with stakeholders at various levels, and support technical solutions through structured, transparent communication.
