Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Windows-focused IT administrator in Germany to maintain and improve Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services. The role emphasizes high availability, security, and automation through scripting and modernisation projects.

You will handle 2nd/3rd line support, contribute to infrastructure planning with internal and external stakeholders, and produce clear technical documentation while adopting a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Windows Server 2019, 2022 and later.
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Good virtualization knowledge, ideally with Hyper-V and S2D clusters.
• Self-starter with creativity and a genuine passion for high-availability systems.
• Fluent German (written and spoken); good technical English.
• Willingness to join on-call rotation after onboarding.
