excelloit is seeking a skilled System Architect for our Friedrichshafen location. You will design and lead the development of complex system architectures for electronic and mechatronic systems. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering and strong knowledge of MBSE tools.

Fluent German and English communication skills are essential along with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.

As a System Architect, you will design and lead the development of complex system architectures for electronic and mechatronic systems using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define end-to-end system architectures (HW/SW) using MBSE
• Model functions, components, and interfaces (SysML, UML, Arcadia, etc.)
• Define system context and interfaces ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Manage the link between requirements and system models
• Lead architecture decisions, reviews, and assessments
• Collaborate with hardware, software, V&V, safety, security, and project teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 15288, etc.)
• Support development of architecture processes, guidelines, and best practices

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering / Architecture
• Strong experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Capella, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Matlab, PreeVision)
• Solid knowledge of system architecture development & interface definition
• Familiarity with industry standards (ASPICE, ISO 15288, ARP4754, ISO 26262)
• Fluent German (C1) and English (B2)
• Strong analytical thinking and structured working style
