Zusammenfassung

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a System Architect for a leading satellite communications terminal manufacturer on Lake Constance. You will own the architecture of a brand-new LEO programme, turning system concepts into working proof‑of‑concept terminals.

The role is permanent with hybrid working (up to 60% home office, about 3 days on-site) at a lakeside location in southern Germany. You will lead system-level design across SoCs, FPGAs, embedded Linux, and next‑generation radio technologies

Qualifikationen

• Experience developing communication devices with a radio interface (satellite, 5G, or Wi-Fi modems).
• Strong telecoms fundamentals, including TCP/IP and Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience in embedded Linux, RTOS, or SoC/FPGA integration.

An established satellite communications terminal manufacturer on Lake Constance has just approved a new LEO satellite programme, and they need a System Architect to own its architecture. This is a chance to step in and define the long-term technical direction of a brand new product line rather than maintain someone else's design, turning system concepts into working proof-of-concept terminals.
