About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced System Architect to drive the design and prototyping of advanced communication systems. You’ll work at the intersection of hardware and software, developing proof-of-concept (PoC) systems and collaborating with cross-functional R&D teams and technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype system-level concepts for next-generation communication systems
• Configure and integrate SoCs, FPGAs, and peripherals into complete PoC setups
• Develop, test, and optimize end-to-end PoC solutions using in-house and partner technologies
• Collaborate closely with internal R&D teams and external partners on system integration and co-design
• Create comprehensive documentation for architectures, integration steps, and reusable reference designs

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Embedded Systems Engineering (or comparable field)
• 5+ years of experience in product or system development for communication devices (e.g., satellite, 5G, Wi-Fi modems)
• Proficient in C/C++, Python, and working with Linux/RTOS environments
• Experienced in SoCs, FPGAs, and integrating third-party software, SDKs, and communication protocols (Ethernet, 5G/6G, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, hands-on, and collaborative mindset in agile R&D settings
• Experience with SATCOM systems.
• Excellent English communication skills; basic German knowledge is an advantage
