You will lead design and implementation of the physical layer for low power wireless products, collaborating with RF/Analog, Digital, Validation and Software teams. The role offers leadership opportunities for qualified candidates and requires a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, plus 5+ years in wireless PHY design.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and implementation of wireless PHY systems.
• Technical leadership experience in owning the Modem and DFE sub system is highly desired.
• Strong background in signal processing and communication theory.
• Experience in MATLAB, C/C++ and fixed-point/cycle-true programming and simulation.
• Experience on Modem and digital front-end blocks design.
• Experience in IC design production support, RFIP calibration and testing.
• Experience in Bluetooth, UWB and/or WiFi is an advantage.
• A team player; able to identify and resolve technical and schedule issues with team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical materials effectively and produce good quality engineering documentation.

Job Description

We are seeking a Communications Systems Design Engineer with a strong background in communication theory and signal processing. The successful candidate will join our Wireless Systems Group in Germany and as a senior member of the team, will be responsible for the systems design and implementation of physical layer for low power wireless products.
