TUI Group is seeking an experienced swimming instructor to deliver safe and engaging lessons at our holiday destinations for the Summer 2027 season. You will assess swimmers, adapt lessons by age and ability, and maintain safety standards in all pool activities.

You will work closely with hotel, childcare and poolside teams to provide a seamless guest experience, while upholding safeguarding and professional standards throughout.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised swimming-teaching qualification or international equivalent.
• Must hold a valid recognised pool-rescue or lifeguarding qualification.
• Experience assessing and teaching swimmers of different ages and abilities.
• Strong lesson-planning and communication skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and professional standards.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, progressive and engaging swimming lessons.
• Assess each swimmer and adapt lessons by age, ability, confidence and needs.
• Take responsibility for pool safety and follow emergency procedures.
• Provide clear feedback to swimmers and families and promote the programme.
• Keep records of attendance, assessments and progress.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

This position is for candidates with an EU passport who are available to live and work in one of our holiday destinations for the Summer 2027 season.

You must hold a recognised swimming-teaching qualification (or accepted international equivalent) and a valid recognised pool-rescue or lifeguarding qualification and have experience teaching swimmers of different ages and abilities.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Deliver safe, progressive and engaging swimming lessons, and support sports and fitness activities where required.
• Assess each swimmer and adapt your lessons to their age, ability, confidence and individual needs.
• Take responsibility for pool safety, following supervision ratios, emergency procedures, risk assessments and health and safety rules.
• Give swimmers and families clear feedback on progress and actively promote the swimming programme, bookings and paid lessons.
• Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments and progress, and look after equipment and resources.
• Work with your colleagues, hotel management, Childcare and poolside teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.

ABOUT YOU

• You have a positive, patient and encouraging approach and a genuine passion for swimming and water confidence.
• You hold a recognised swimming-teaching qualification, or an accepted international equivalent.
• You hold a valid recognised pool-rescue or lifeguarding qualification and can meet our internal training, safeguarding and validation standards.
• You have experience assessing and teaching swimmers of different ages, abilities and confidence levels, with strong lesson-planning and communication skills.
• You’re committed to safeguarding, safety and professional standards, and you’re proactive and adaptable.
