Overview

As a Swaps Clearing Software Developer you will be mainly responsible for development and maintenance of the Eurex Clearing applications for Swaps derivatives and their components.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test and maintenance of the Eurex Clearing applications for Swaps derivatives.
  • Support during the rollout phase of new releases and release introduction.
  • Maintenance and issue resolution of the Swaps Clearing application.
  • Collaboration in a multi-cultural international team.
Qualifications
  • University degree or higher technical degree in an IT related discipline.
  • Technical skills in the following domains: Software development in Calypso, J2EE on SpringBoot. Knowledge of Calypso architecture and customizations will be an asset. Essential for Java software development: Multithreading, Object Orientation and Core Java. Desirable for Java software development: Spring framework, Hibernate, JDBC, TestNG or Junit. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Containerization, Helm Chart knowledge. Knowledge of Cloud technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Service-oriented / MicroServices architectures. SQL-database expertise in Oracle. Jira, GitHub, Fortify, etc. Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage: Shell scripting. Programming in Python.
  • Inter-personal skills are essential: Good communication and analytical skills. Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to details. Ability to work in a multi-cultural international team. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills, highly motivated, flexible and good at handling MS Office applications.
