HHI has a leading position worldwide in the field of photodetectors. The dynamism of this technology field opens up the scope for exciting scientific projects with a clear application perspective. The photodetectors developed at HHI can be found at the end of optical fibers, in scientific detectors (e.g. LIGO, ALMA), in satellites for communication with laser beams, and recently also in quantum communication and sensing applications. The position is initially limited to 1 year. An extension is explicitly desired.
The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part‑time basis.
