Overview

As a SpaceTech structural engineer in the mechanical department you are responsible for the mechanical design of complex light weight structures for space projects...

Due to our growing mechanical department, we are hiring new employees to strengthen our mechanical engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Mechanical Design of complex light weight structures for space projects
  • Mechanical analysis (FEM) of vibration loads, sine and random vibration, mechanical shock, thermo-elastic
  • Conceptual design and dimensioning of modules and individual components
  • Preparation of design, analysis and test documentation
  • Test prediction and support of vibration and shock tests
Skills and Experience
  • Master Degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines
  • Proficiency in FEM Systems, preferably nastran
  • Proficiency in CAD Systems, preferably Solid Works
  • Systematic and independent working style
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving, pragmatism, flexibility
  • Team player, good communication skills
  • Fluent in English – good knowledge of German would be a definite advantage
