Da Vinci Engineering GmbH in Stuttgart is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize lightweight structures, applying mechanical and structural engineering principles across projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop detailed designs, perform FEA and simulations, ensure compliance with ISO/ASME standards, and collaborate with manufacturing and QA to deliver high-quality results. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3-8 years in mechanical and structural engineering.
• Experience in project leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards.
• Experience with FEA and other simulation tools.
• Good English; German is an advantage.

• Mechanical & Structural Engineering: Apply mechanical and structural engineering principles to design, analyze, and improve lightweight architecture systems and structures
• Project Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams on engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful project execution
• Design & Analysis: Develop detailed engineering designs and perform analysis for mechanical systems, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards
• Quality Management: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring all designs and projects meet regulatory and internal quality standards
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and other engineering disciplines to support product development
• Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and solve engineering challenges related to mechanical and structural systems
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, design changes, and quality control processes

Your profile:

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3-8 years of experience in mechanical and structural engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Proven experience in project leadership, managing cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, or similar tools
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, ASME)
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools
• Good English (required); German is an advantage, particularly for liaison with German suppliers and specialist engineers
