Da Vinci Engineering GmbH in Böblingen is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) for robotics. You will design and optimize mechanical subsystems, create manufacturing drawings, and manage BOMs for actuators and joints, collaborating with electrical and software teams to achieve integrated robotic solutions.

The role requires SolidWorks expertise, a degree in engineering, and experience with tolerance analysis and GD&T; on-site presence is welcomed several days per month.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.
• Experience with tolerance analysis, GD&T and DFM.
• Robotics experience is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies for humanoid robotics prototypes.
• Create and maintain manufacturing, assembly, and detailed drawings for actuator and joint systems.
• Manage and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) for actuators, structural components, and assemblies.
• Design brackets, interfaces, structural parts, and mounting elements using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
• Perform tolerance analyses (Worst-Case and RSS) to ensure fit, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Apply GD&T and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and robotics engineers to ensure successful system integration.
