Tintschl Technik GmbH is looking for an experienced Stress Engineer (d/f/m) to join our team, working directly with our long-standing business partner, AIRBUS, in Germany.
- Structural Sizing: Size structural parts, components, and installations (metallic & composite/CFRP) using advanced FEM tools and classic handbook methods.
- Trade-off Analysis: Evaluate design solutions and structural concepts.
- System Analysis: Analyze mechanical systems and equipment integration.
- Reporting: Prepare high-quality analysis reports and statements for airframe qualification.
- In-Service Support: Assess damages and develop repairs for active aircraft.
- Production Support: Assist manufacturing and assembly lines, evaluating concessions and non-conformities.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with adjacent departments and relevant stakeholders.
- This position is subject to international regulations on military and aerospace projects, which require specific legal and security authorizations: the ability to obtain a security clearance for NATO projects is required.
- Education: Master’s degree or Diploma in Aerospace Engineering (or related technical field).
- Experience: at least 2/3 years of work experience in aircraft structural analysis and in the application of specific stress analysis and FEM tools (e.g. Nastran, Hyperworks etc.)
- Good knowledge of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young) is mandatory.
- Languages: Fluent English AND Fluent German (both are mandatory).
