Qualifications

The Strategy Manager is responsible for supporting the Country or Regional Managing Director in the development, execution and monitoring of the corporate strategy. The role is responsible for leading high-impact projects and business initiatives across all functions, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into measurable business results.

The role acts as a central coordination point between management, operational and regional teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, transparency of business performance, and successful implementation of strategic projects.
The position works across all functions with the goals to improve profitability, operational excellence, customer experience and organizational effectiveness.
Beyond the above objectives, the role is designed as a development pathway for future country leadership by providing broad exposure to all aspects of managing a freight forwarding business, while building a strong European network and understanding of strategic priorities.

What you will be doing

Strategic Planning & Governance

• Support the development of the regional and country corporate strategy and assist in prioritizing initiatives and allocating resources and ensure alignment between global strategy, regional objectives and country execution plans.
• Lead high-impact strategic initiatives that drive measurable improvements in business performance, organizational effectiveness and long-term growth, taking full ownership from opportunity identification through implementation and successful execution.
• Support with definition of budgets and monthly performance reviews.

Performance Management & Business Intelligence

• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement and to support management decision-making.
• Monitor key business KPIs and establish reporting structures for strategic initiatives.
• Benchmark country and departmental performance against internal and external best practices.

Executive Support

• Prepare communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and participate in management reviews, strategic workshops and leadership forums.
• Track key decisions and follow up on agreed actions
• Coordinate special assignments from Senior Leadership
• Represent Senior Leadership in selected meetings or projects where appropriate

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency and collaboration within the geographical scope.
• Lead and support digitalization initiatives and process optimization projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with regional and corporate objectives.

What will you bring
